I am a chemical and biomedical engineer and the Canada Research Chair in Bacteriophage Bioengineering. I joined the Chemical Engineering Department at McMaster in July 2016. I am a core member of The Farncombe Institute for Digestive Health and an associate member at the Michael DeGroote Institute for Infectious Disease Research, the School of Biomedical Engineering, and the Center for Protective Equipment and Material (CEPEM).
My research program is globally unique. We operate at the intersection of multiple disciplines and train the next generation of leaders in science and engineering that are not only valuable hires for existing industry, but can drive innovation through entrepreneurship across the globe.
